For those who are interested in Betrayal tickets, there are various websites offering tickets besides ATG as mentioned before. With ATG you can grab Pinter package for 105-110 pounds and get front rows and extra perks. Besides London Theatre Direct, Boxoffice,co,uk and Time Out offer some very expensive tickets (up to 184 for stall and 224 for dress circle!). What’sonstage/Fromtheboxoffice/ticketmaster have the same ticket source (WOS is the cheapest). (1/2)

Thank you for this info – I’ve been meaning to make up a list.

ATG – tickets at the base price (£15-£99.50), but you don’t get to select the specific seat, just the price:

(Sorry, I didn’t get a part 2 for this.)

I suppose people who go to theater regularly would know to buy tickets from other sources other than ATG so Pinter hasn’t advertised sales at other sites. I would say ticket sales have been very good for the first 6 weeks, especially on weekends. There are many good seats available past mid-April. The theater is fairly large and the play is not as well-known or popular as Shakespeare ones so we shouldn’t expect it to sell out as quickly. If it were Hamlet the demand would have been crazy.

Yep, absolutely – I was saying this yesterday. Pinter isn’t as a) well-known outside theatre circles and b) accessible. So it’s like comparing apples to oranges.

But for comparison, it looks like there are maybe 20 seats (total, across various sites) available of the 700 that have been put on sale so far for opening night for Betrayal. All back row/obscured view. Here’s the screen cap from What’s On Stage/Ticket Master:

Here’s opening night for Martin Freeman’s show on January 31st – Pinter 7.

It’s not like Martin’s an unknown – he’s very well known – but that’s quite a difference.

(But since we’re talking about Hamlet, there were still tickets available for Andrew Scott’s Hamlet shows a few days beforehand; I checked last year just out of curiosity.)

One of the photos I took of Tom Hiddlestone [sic] during the promo film shoot by @dusthouse films for the play ‘Betrayal’ at @haroldpintertheatre, directed by @jamielloyd.

The shoot was at the amazing @leakestreetarches – great graffiti and some brilliant cafes. The whole crew including Tom were brilliant, great to work with. I’ll post more photos soon.
