I think it was on the theatreboard forums that I read that in order to meet initial demand and not slow down the process even more, seat selection isn’t available now. However, it will be later on. Imagine how much longer queueing would take otherwise. Sounds like they do this with the bigger shows?

I think so, yes.

I guess they do – they’ve probably learned from things like Corio and BC Hamlet that they need to do something to make it more accessible and not (as) frustrating.

I was curious so just had a look at ATG website to see if tickets are still available. As you’d expect earlier in the run has less availability but later still seems to have a good choice. Like others have said you can get from other booking sites too. I’m sure it will be a sell out but for anyone who is desperate to go then I don’t think they’ll have a problem just yet unless the can’t flexible with dates. I saw some fans complaining who only wanted 1st night so could see before other fans!

Well, that’s their tough luck. Only 800 people get that.

Ah I went on whatsonstage main page and didn’t see betrayal listed. Don’t know how many people realize they are selling tickets for different seats through different sites. ATG has the worst web design, and you cannot see where the seats are. But it’s the cheapest option.

You have to do a search for it with the date.

I think it’s just for this show that you get ‘best available’, because the other Pinter at the Pinter shows you can pick your seat.

All depends on what’s important to you – choice or price.
